Your driver will meet you at the Hotel and will drive you to Schiazzano, small hamlet in the hills of Sorrento peninsula The day will start with guided Tour of the farm “La Masseria”, (registered on the bulletin board of the Lemon of Sorrento I. G. P. producers) with explanation about the farm’s history, production, the traditional techniques of farming, accompanied by the testing of products such as: typical lemonade, slice of lemon with sugar, orange and lemon marmelades on toast, extra virgin olive oil, lemon and orange oil on homemade bread. It will follow the illustration of the cheese Farm“Il Turuziello” (registered on the bulletin board of the Provolone del Monaco D.O.P. producers) and a demonstration of “Treccia” and “Caciottine” being worked in the moment and their tasting even with Salami and the famous Provolone del Monaco D.O.P. Everything accompanied with a delicious glass of “La Masseria” wine.
After La Masseria, Eugenio and Benedetto will take you “Da Francesco” Restaurant located in the historical centre of Schiazzano, with explanations on the production’s cycle of the typical Neapolitan Pizza and participation of the visitors to prepare it. Moreover homemade desserts and eventually coffee. Return to “La Masseria” for Limoncello tasting with an explanation and demonstration of its family recipe.
